The lab and the product organisation share a single weekly review. Researchers take on production problems and engineers take on lab problems, so findings and failures travel both ways. The boundary moves — the discipline doesn’t.
Tokyo is home to the lab and San Francisco to product engineering. The two offices share one calendar and one set of channels, and work as one team.
